Over hundreds of years, The Arab-Israeli Conflict is considered the oldest and most complicated conflict in human history, and it still remains unsolved.

This course is suitable for anyone interested in learning about the Middle East politics, and suitable for students of international relations and political science to know the major political facts associated with the Arab Israeli Conflict and Middle East.

The course covers everything, starting from the deeply-rooted reasons of hatred between Muslims and Jews, then the many wars between the two sides, and ends with the current situation facts.

Religion, World Wars, and Jerusalem were the main factors of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. These factors contributed significantly to firing the situation and breaking out several wars. 

Learners in this course will experience Jew's and Muslim's religious instructions about the conflict. Learners will know the main wars and their causes, and will also learn about long stages of negotiations. The course includes essential information and explanations of ​ terms repeated in news stories, like Hamas, Zionism, Sykes-Picot, and Temple Mount.

The course is designed to acquaint zero-knowledge learners with all the knowledge from scratch. The course highlights political tensions and major military battles.

The course consists of three sections. Each section contains PowerPoint presentations, multiple trusted essays from authentic sources and official references from both sides, and a worksheet to check understanding.
Although the essays are in English, there are Arabic articles and videos for advanced Arabic learners to further develop the language.

Mohamed Ahmed

Mohamed is a Fulbright scholar and language instructor. He has been teaching English and Arabic as a foreign language since 2012. Mohamed worked as an Arabic language and cultural instructor at Fairfield University and he studied language education technology class in the United States to experience teaching online.

In addition, Mohamed attended language education workshops at Arizona State University and Fulbright foreign language conference in Washington D.C. He also worked as an educational writer and wrote more than 200 educational Arabic articles.

 During his job at Fairfield University, Mohamed conducted several cross-culture workshops in which he acquainted students with facts and information about Arab culture. Mohamed was chosen by Fairfield University to take part in the United Nations conference about "Promoting Peace Through Education."
